ROOT Dutch Living Lab

Join ROOT in The Hague on 26 November 2026 to discover how the Dutch Living Lab will help shape practical approaches to skills development and career guidance for the Earth Observation sector.

How can professionals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working with satellite data access better career guidance and identify opportunities to develop their skills? The ROOT project is addressing this question through its Living Labs, where stakeholders will work together to develop and test practical approaches that respond to the needs of the Earth Observation sector.

The Dutch Living Lab will bring together companies, educators, career counsellors, learners and other relevant stakeholders to help shape activities that support adults who want to strengthen their expertise, upskill or transition into a new professional field.

On 26 November 2026, ROOT will officially launch its Dutch Living Lab at Titaan Campus in The Hague, the Netherlands. The event will introduce participants to the European ROOT project, its approach to career guidance and skills development, and the opportunities to get involved in the Living Lab's activities.

The afternoon will feature a walk-in lunch, a ROOT dissemination event and the Living Lab launch, followed by Titaan Thursday drinks. It will offer an opportunity to meet the ROOT team, exchange perspectives and explore how organisations and individuals can contribute to improving career guidance in the EO sector.
